Urban legend dari Michigan.
Kisahnya, ada seorang gadis yang bertunangan dengan seorang tentara. Gadis ini dicintai oleh seekor werewolf yang mencoba menculiknya di hari pernikahannya. Si werewolf berhasil menyeret si gadis ke dalam hutan, dan sang tentara kehilangan jejaknya. Beberapa hari kemudian, si tentara berhasil menemukan jejak si werewolf yang merujuk ke sebuah gua.
Di dalamnya, ia menemukan mayat istrinya terbaring dalam peti kayu. Sang istri menolak menjadi istri werewolf sampai akhir hayatnya, dan dibunuh karena ketidakpatuhannya. Namun si werewolf yang mencintai gadis ini sepenuh hati, meletakkan mayatnya dalam peti agar aman dari hewan buas dan mengunjunginya setiap hari.
Si tentara bersembunyi dekat peti, dan ketika werewolf tersebut muncul, ia menembakinya beberapa kali. Serigala itu lari ke danau dan menceburkan diri. Si tentara menunggu di sampingnya berjam-jam sementara mayat serigala itu dimakan oleh ikan catfish yang menghuni danau.
Ketika teman-temannya datang, si tentara menunjukkan tempat peti istrinya, dan segera setelah itu, ia jadi gila. Beberapa hari kemudian ia meninggal dan dikuburkan bersama istrinya.
Sampai sekarang di danau tersebut ada larangan memancing dan memakan catfish.
