Urban Legend yang sangat terkenal, menceritakan tentang seorang anak laki-laki bernama John Smith yang sangat menyukai urban legends. Suatu hari, dia menerima email dari seseorang yang mengaku bernama The Smith Sisters. Orang ini mengaku bahwa mereka berdua adalah kakak perempuan John yang dibunuh sebelum ia lahir.
Mereka marah karena pembunuhnya tak tertangkap, orangtua mereka melupakan mereka, masyarakat melupakan mereka, dan orangtua mereka mencurahkan seluruh perhatian kepada John, anak yang dilahirkan setelah terbunuhnya mereka. Email itu menyertakan potongan kliping koran tentang pembunuhan the Smith Sisters yang terjadi tahun 1993, dan foto kedua bersaudara tersebut. Keduanya dibunuh di kamar mereka yang sekarang dipakai John, mayat mereka ditemukan di dalam lemari.
John marah dan membalas bahwa ia tak percaya semua isi email itu, menganggap email itu hanya kerjaan orang iseng. Kemudian email balasan datang, bertuliskan "Kalau kau tak percaya, lihatlah ke dalam lemari kamarmu."
Itu email terakhir yang diterima John, dan satu-satunya bukti yang dimiliki polisi, karena keesokan harinya orangtua John menemukan putra mereka meninggal di dalam lemari, dikuliti hidup-hidup.
