Urban legend yang terkenal di antara anak-anak pramuka. Betsy Beaumont menikah dengan Joe Beaumont dan bercita-cita menjadi seorang penyanyi. Harapan yang tak kesampaian, karena pada suatu malam, Betsy mengalami kecelakaan mobil parah sampai ia hanya dapat diidentifikasi melalui cincin pernikahannya.
Karena sedih, Joe membeli sebuah bumi perkemahan dan menamainya Beaumont untuk mengenang Betsy. Ketika ia meninggal, Joe menyerahkan tanahnya kepada PERKUMPULAN PRAMUKA AMERIKA.
Nah, si Betsy ini sebenernya nggak suka banget sama pramuka. Makanya sampai sekarang pun arwah si Betsy ini diceritakan masih suka berkeliaran di tanah perkemahan milik almarhum suaminya itu.
Kalau ada pramuka yang melihatnya, mereka harus melihat matanya. Kalo si Betsy ini matanya biru, tandanya dia sedang senang dan nggak akan melukaimu. Kalau matanya merah, hmm...
Bersiaplah pulang tinggal nama. Si Betsy ini juga suka latihan menyanyi tengah malam. Dan dia SANGAT TIDAK SUKA dikomentari nyanyiannya. Jadi kalau kamu mendengar dia menyanyi, paling baik kamu diem aja dan berdoa sampe dia selesai nyanyi.
